Louise Wagstaff - Manager
Since moving to Huby 18 years ago I have gained a great deal of experience in the caring and management of animals.
Coming from a farming background, and being surrounded by animals of all sizes, I naturally went on to learn more.
I started as a stable hand , learning equine management, and after 4 years went on to study
for a foundation degree in animal management and behaviour at Bishop Burton College. I went on to study for an Honours
degree in applied animal behaviour and training, specialising in canine and feline behaviour, animal communication and welfare.
Since graduation I have worked
as a primate keeper at a Zoo in the Lake District and in the education department at Flamingo Land Zoo. Although I enjoyed
these positions my real interest lies in working with cats and dogs, hence the exciting move to Moss End Kennels and
Cattery.
As well as being primarily
responsible for the care and well being of the guests, I will also be available for individual behaviour and training
work.
I am very much looking forward
to meeting all customers, new and old, and of course all your pets as well!
